We Believe...
The Bible is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative written Word of God.
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.
Man was created in the image of God,
and that by transgression fell, cursing mankind, including
physical and spiritual death, in this world.
In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ,
His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and
atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand
of the Father, His personal return to this earth in power and glory.
In the absolute necessity of
regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding
sinfulness of human nature, that all are justified on the single
ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ, and that only by God's
grace through faith alone are we saved.
In the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling, the Christian is enabled to overcome sin and live a holy life.
The baptism of the Holy Spirit,
according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it. It is a
personal coming of God to empower them for Christian service.
That Jesus Christ, through His atonement, provides healing for our physical bodies through God's grace, gifts,
laying of hands, anointing with oil, and simple faith alone.
That God, through Jesus Christ, has provided for the believer deliverance from all the power of Satan.
In the Ordinances given to the Church
by Jesus Christ: Baptism by immersion and Communion (Lord's Supper) as a
symbolic remembrance of Christ's suffering and death for our salvation.
That the Church universally consists of all
who put their faith in Jesus Christ. Its purpose is to carry on the
ministry of Jesus Christ by evangelizing, destroying the works of the
enemy, and disciplining believers to love and obey God. In doing so, it
enables believers to live victoriously and fulfill God's plan for them.
We believe in the resurrection of
both the saved and the lost; those who are saved unto the resurrection
of life, and those who are not unto the resurrection of damnation.
